The site

Iulianchiriac.com is a publication and a marketing surface for consulting services. Content is published as opinion and applied operations advice, drawn from 15+ years of consulting practice. It is not legal, financial, or medical advice.

The newsletter

The Exceptional OS is a free email newsletter. Subscribing means you'll receive one email each Saturday morning. You can unsubscribe in one click at the bottom of any edition. We do not share or sell your email address. See the Privacy Policy for details.

The Future-State Audit

The Future-State Audit is a paid consulting deliverable provided by Mekanys Inc. By purchasing:

• What you get: a 14-day diagnostic that names the top process leaks in your operation and the ROI math to fix them. Current-state and future-state architecture, prioritized backlog, and a 60-minute Roadmap Presentation Call. Founding cohort pricing applies for the first five customers ($2,500).
• What we need from you: access to 3-4 stakeholders for interviews and read-only access to your current operational systems.
• Timeline: 14 calendar days from kickoff, assuming stakeholder availability.
• Refund policy: if at the 7-day midpoint we have not delivered the current-state diagnostic, you can request a full refund. After that point, the work is delivered and not refundable.
• Implementation credit: the audit fee credits 100% toward Mekanys implementation work signed within 30 days of the Roadmap Call.

Implementation work via Mekanys

If you engage Mekanys for implementation work, a separate Statement of Work governs that engagement. These site terms do not. Refer to your SOW.

Intellectual property

• All content on the site (essays, frameworks, diagrams, photos) is owned by Mekanys Inc or licensed.
• You may quote up to 200 words with attribution and a link back. Longer excerpts or commercial reuse: ask.
• You may not reproduce the full text of newsletter editions, host them on your site, or feed them into AI training corpora without permission.
• Frameworks and methodologies you learn from the newsletter or audit are yours to use in your own business. Just don't repackage and sell them as your own product.

Replies and correspondence

When you reply to a newsletter or send an email, you grant us a limited right to quote your message (with attribution and your permission) in future editions. We always ask before quoting.

Disclaimers

The newsletter and audit provide applied operations advice. They are not:

• Legal advice
• Financial advice
• Medical advice
• A guarantee of business outcomes

Every business is different. Past results do not predict future results. Implement what makes sense for your context.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mekanys Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or the newsletter. For paid services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the site, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or end consulting engagements (per the SOW) at any time. We can stop providing services if a customer materially breaches these terms or behaves abusively toward our team.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms meaningfully, we'll note it in the next newsletter edition and update the date at the top of this page.
